Hotel Es Port in Sóller is an old 18th-century mansion located in the heart of the port of Sóller and at the foot of the Tramuntana mountain range.
The hotel is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has really managed to maintain a cozy feel of old Spain while mixing it with new and modern. The hotel is located between the mountains and the sea.
This cozy and historic 4-star hotel has 148 rooms spread over different buildings. It is naturally nestled in the Sóller Valley, surrounded by a 40,000 m2 garden with native vegetation such as orange, lemon and olive trees, as well as an organic garden.
The hotel together with the mountains, nature and sea is a perfect environment for relaxation.
The price includes a breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner that we eat together at the hotel every day. Other food is paid for on your own. The price also includes access to the hotel's SPA facility for the best possible recovery between tennis sessions.
Training
Before each technique session, we will run a 15-minute warm-up to best prepare the cup for the training session.
We play two tennis sessions per day, a technique session in the morning (1.5 hours) and a match play session in the afternoon (1.5 hours). During the technique session you will be coached by one of the coaches from Tennisresor.net. During the match play session you will have the opportunity to play doubles and singles against the other participants and possibly the coaches.
Tennis
25 m from the hotel are the hotel's three tennis courts. Two of the tennis courts are clay courts and one tennis court is hard court. You will be able to play on both clay and hard court, which provides a perfect mix of the two most common surfaces for tennis.
Coaches during the week will be Andres Ruiz Janson and Jens Bryntesson from tennisresor.net as well as a coach from the local tennis company Actiontenis.
Participants are divided into groups of 3-4 people with similar playing levels and have the opportunity to play at least 9 hours of tennis spread over three days. Arrival day Wednesday and departure day Sunday are free of charge, but if you arrive earlier, there is the possibility to book courts for your own training.
During the week, you will work with your coach to identify your strengths and weaknesses, which can then be documented together with the coach at the end of the trip. Between game sessions, you have free access to the hotel's facilities for the best possible recovery.
